Thanks for helping us Spread the Word about Liturgy Day 2011. We are excited to have composers Marty Haugen and J. Michael Joncas with us for a workshop and evening concert.
Marty and Mike have their music published in many Christian hymnals -- Catholic, Lutheran, United Methodists, the Mennonite Brethren, the United Church of Christ, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the United Church of Canada, the Church of England, and the Church of Scotland.
The evening concert is music for all denominations.
All are welcome to particiapte in the workshop. The topic is Psalms in Christian Liturgy and is appropriate for all denominations.
How Your Church Community can Get Involved.

- Organize a group to attend the concert. Maybe gather for fellowship before or after the concert at your church.

Get involved with the Worskhop
“Psalms in Christian Liturgy”
presented by Marty Haugen and Fr. Mike Joncas
- Promote the workshop to your staff, musicians, and choir members. Maybe pay their way — $25 is a small thank you for the gifts they share.
- Co-sponsor Liturgy Day with other local churches. Sponsorships are at $250, $500, $750 levels depending on your ability. It would cost more than $250 for travel and lodging to send just one person to the same workshop elsewhere. For the same price, you get the workshop here and you can help make it possible for many other churches who could not afford to send someone to Minneapolis or Chicago.
- Attend.
- Pray that Liturgy Day helps enrich liturgical experience in northern Minnesota.
